Hello! I'm Katie Souvannavong, and my passion lies in accounting. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I pursued my education at Cal State East Bay, where I earned both a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in accounting. As I embarked on my career and started a family, we made the exciting move to Placer County, where we've made our new home in Lincoln, California.
My family and I are deeply engaged in our community, and I'm a frequent volunteer at the local elementary school. Beyond my accounting work, my passions extend to health and wellness. In my leisure time, you'll often find me immersed in cooking from scratch (yes, even making my own bread!), embarking on geocaching adventures, and exploring the diverse offerings of our vibrant local businesses.
Our Journey.
Since 2009, I've been deeply involved in the accounting field, with early experiences in tax and CPA firms. Upon completing my master's degree, I faced the challenge of balancing the demands of public accounting with raising a family. Additionally, I noticed that the CPA firm's approach to client care fell short of my expectations. We were often too busy to give each client the level of attention they truly deserved. With my credentials and experience in hand, I made the decision to establish KLS Accounting as a virtual accounting company. This shift not only allowed me to find a more harmonious work-life balance but also offered the freedom to treat my clients as genuine partners. My primary goal is to ensure that business owners who collaborate with my team and me feel completely supported in managing their financial affairs, providing them with peace of mind.
